Went to a live-concert of "RAHAT FATEH ALI KHAN".
It was Dpk's B'day and there should not be a better gift than this. He is fond of god music and his favourites includes "MAN ki Lagan". Worked a bit to get the pass for the event and finally managed to get it. Initially DPK seemed busy with office but as RAHAT ji became late so finally he managed to join us ( Me, K and his better half ) for this LIVE-Concert.
And after a wait for an hour or so..... RAHAT ji turned up with first number -
"LAGI Tumase MAN ki Lagan"
I think, it should have been better, if the ambience had been an auditorium. Probably, the sound quality test might have resulted in better reception in audience but anyways, RAHAT ji sung it too well and looked like a musical GOD. Then came "Mera PIYA ghar aaya" and some others good numbers.
Just after a break, when people were busy with doing X and Y ( so many college lads, what else they'll do :) ), Suddenly he started.... "TUJHE DEKH-DEKH SONA".... It was marvelous, so touchy that people gave a standing ovation ( Even who were sitting ). After this number we had to leave as Friday is going to be again a bit tough in office. Offff....I haven't slept well since last 2 months, the time my office shifted to GNoida. Sometimes think, like better If I stay in Noida only.........or else move to GNoida. Anyways, to sleep early we started for home.
RAHAT ji still singing some sufi kalam........
At times, I feel like writing something...and it means something.....which excites me, which puzzles me...which bothers me, which helps me think, act. It happens when I am most busy....and hence have to cut back...If I am free, I don't get time to write here....don't know what I do in those times...probably sleep, read, play, kill time....yes, that's right !

RDB
I went to see "RANG DE BASANTI" with Dpk and Prakash.
I liked this movie. There were things which were a bit filmi but overall a nice movie. A group of enthusiatic young gen. lads, An English lady trying to realize her well planned dream.
Movie goes good with some rough & tough language, generally talked monologues, dialogues.... One was good....which was something like... "Ek pair past mein hai aur doosra pair future mein, Aur is beech aaj pe p*s****".
At end, when the guys came to Radio station and Black Cat commondoes were ordered don't let anyone survive, A thought suddenly struck to mind.
ARE WE INDEPENDENT ??
Even after 58 Yrs. of independence, the orders carried by black commondoes ( in RDB ) can not be ruled out. If and if there be such a situation, I can't disagree with a possibility of such execution orders from who'swho of country. So are we living in an independent INDIA ?
Concluding, I am forced to see it in a different way...before 58 Yrs., Atleast we were able to identify English/Goras but today our rulers are no different from us atleast on the basis of race/cast/religion/region. They are black sheeps between us and we have to be careful in identifying them.

I am in Bangalore !!
I am with Ritesh and DCR, not NCR;) Enjoying the moment. The main purpose of the trip went ok and hopefuly will get some good results. Although astonishingly, last steps were not good for the same.
Anyways, went to Forum and got ate some snacks in Food court. It was good sitting with Ritesh and F.
"Dil mein ek lahar si uthi hai abhi,
koi taza hawa chali hai abhi,
....
Dil mein ek lahar si uthi hai abhi"
Tomorrow planning to go to Pritam's place. Rites would hopefully accompany me for the same.
We would take lunch. Overall the Blore trip is going good.

Airport strikes
I have Seen sufferings of travellers from all around the Globe. Coming to India must be a good experience as they perceive while starting their travel. Just after landing, They feel befuddled. A lots of suffering because some inefficiencies are going to be punished.
The most needed steps are taken up strongly by Govt. but Communists .....huh.......
I remember something written about them by 'Mr. Hari Shankar Parsai' -
"If a mad dog is running behind me and I see a communist in front, I'll return back to the dog" ;)
I liked it when I read it first but now I appreciate more.
